Why we built Brayns.
We spent years inside compliance functions watching the same thing happen. Systems bought for a fortune, teams built around them, and the work still fragmented: people feeding the system, people keeping it running, people handling what it produced. Financial crime kept growing anyway.
General AI did not fix it, because compliance is not an everything problem. A decision is made against one institution's own procedures and examined years later by someone who was not in the room. A model that guesses well is not a model you can answer for in front of your regulator.
So we built one that does not guess. Brayns LLM is built for compliance work and nothing else, by compliance professionals who decide what correct means and AI researchers who hold the model to it.
